The Brussels Economic Security Review is conceived as a dedicated platform for deeper reflection on the intersection of geopolitics and economic security, responding to the need for more sustained analysis and intellectual engagement in Europe’s policy landscape. Positioned between the immediacy of traditional media and the longer timelines of academic publishing, it offers a space for rigorous yet accessible contributions that engage directly with evolving policy debates. Bringing together EPC analysts alongside European and international experts, it aims to foster a more coherent and strategic European conversation. Its first edition will be published in the lead-up to the second Brussels Economic Security Forum summit and will focus on the question of what is critical in an era of economic security, examining which resources or sectors are most important to safeguard.
